Electric Bus Layout
Above is the electric bus layout detailing how the icons are arranged. The central focus is the yellow ribbon encasing all thirteen icons, with yellow monarch butterflies adorning the sides of the bus, while white and yellow geometric shapes provide accents at the front and back of the bus. The color palette celebrates the official colors of the city of Lawrence.
Limited Edition Prints
I unveiled my collaboration through a series of limited edition prints, highlighting the iconic designs I crafted for the electric bus project. One print features a quilt-like pattern, incorporating the city name, state initials, a buffalo, and geometric shapes that resonate with the rich cultural heritage of various Native American nations. Another print showcases the icons within the state border, accompanied by a row of sunflowers adjacent to the bronze sculpture by Craig Goseyun.
